Hi!

My little buddy was diagnosed with nystagmus and foveal hypoplasia at three months.  This points to a diagnosis of Ocular Albinism.  Buddy is a great little guy, and he has had some setbacks, but for the most part, you would never know he has a problem.

When we first got the diagnoses, we were scared and confused.  I tried looking online for information from other mothers, but it is a fairly rare condition, and I didn't really find what I was looking for.  I started this blog to share my feelings, to share information with family and friends, and to offer a personal story for other parents to find and read if their child is diagnosed with something similar.

Buddy is doing so well, I don't always have something to say about OA, but I like putting Buddy's progress reports on here, too, so that everyone knows how well he is doing.
